Swish Goswami, 23, is the CEO of Trufan, a social intelligence platform that helps brands of all sizes make smarter marketing decisions using data. His company has made two acquisitions, raised over $1.8M to date (from several NBA players and venture firms) and has clients like Samsung, Netflix, NBA, NFL, PUMA and thousands of small to medium sized businesses.
In high school, Swish was selected to be a part of Canada’s national debate team. As part of the team he won the European Schools Debating Championships, was a semi-finalist at the 2014 World Schools Debating Championships and a grand finalist at the 2015 World Schools Debating Championships. In 2015, Swish was honoured as the second-best debater in the Americas.
To date, Swish has given three TEDx talks, secured a publishing deal with Kogan Page and a sneaker deal with K-Swiss, and is an advisor/investor in popular social companies like Upstream, FaZe Clan and 6ixBuzzTV. He has a personal following of over 175,000 and has spoken at various places including Harvard University, United Nations, STAPLES Center, Wall Street Journal, etc. For his entrepreneurial and philanthropic achievements, Swish was inducted into Plan Canada’s Top 20 under 20 and Bay Street Bull’s 30 under 30, recognized as Startup Canada’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year and awarded the United Nation’s Outstanding Youth Leadership award.

In this talk, Swish will go through his entrepreneurial experiences and how he created a multi-million dollar company at the age of 20. Swish will share the adversities and obstacles he had to go through including being taken seriously as a young adult in business, his speech impediment and the initial backlash he faced for putting himself out there. He will also highlight some of the lessons he has gotten from his advisors and some of the things he has learnt in building a personal brand that has allowed him to network with great people, speak on stages worldwide and express himself at a higher level.
